My Sims Wont Eat!

to be sure, you moved your entire mods folder to the desktop and deleted the localthumbcache file ?

Does your Sim have the secret spice perk ?

sorry im late! ive been ignoring the game since ive been very busy recently. ill try this! thank you! and i dont think they do, one of them has it but i haven’t attempted to have him eat.

hi so i just deleted localthumbcache, repaired my game as ive tried many times, and played the game without any of my mods/cc on. still didnt work :(

Not sure if you actually have to use it and if it affects the whole household.

Can you check the thread to see if it's the same you're seeing ?

Hi! i checked the thread, i havent ever used the secret spice option on foods, but the sim who cooks is at lvl 10 cooking. Does it put it on automatically, or is it something you must choose to put on? if not, the meals never have secret spice so idk whats wrong :((

Could you remove the Sim that has the perk from your family in a test save and try if it works without the Sim ?

I've never tested the bug so I'm a bit unsure what it involves

Hi! Just opened another save i have with sims that do not have that perk, and they can eat just fine! Is there a way i can remove the secret spice perk? 

Im back again! removed the secret spice perk using the aspiration points and had my sims eat food that was not prepared previously by the secret spice sim, safe to say the problem is fixed and my sims are now eating!

Hi’ sorry forgot to update! after i removed the secret spice perks, my sims could eat again! thank you so much for ur help :)
