I’m currently having this issue. While in a neighborhood all the lots except for the one im visiting are showing their default lots. It’s strange because if I go to the lot it’ll be the lot I changed it to instead of the default. No progress lost at all. This happened after the recent update.

Yes, same thing happened to our save after an earlier update - for no apparent reason. I heard it was due to rental lots in the save file, so I tried to enter one of the two default rental lots in the For Rent world, to change lot type. However, Infinite loading happened. After that, we removed For Rent expansion entirely and all lots appeared correctly in the neighborhood. Only thing was that some sims lost a couple of clothing, and some households lost a couple of furniture (or had them changed to another one) due to items locked behind For Rent.
I would strongly suggest that you do the same, as I reckon you (like we where) in the early stages of save file corruption. If you keep playing like it for too long, apparently lots and households will start to remove themselves. We wont install For Rent until the save file corruption bug is fixed completely, if even then. The pack is quite lackluster in itself if you ask me.
