[S] New skill day not showing up for sims

going into CAS and back to live mode fixed it

Mine has done that for quite a while but will try CAS and going back to live mode when the holiday comes up again

The issue seems to be that the New Skill Day UI doesn’t show up automatically at 6AM like all the other holidays. Going into CAS/BB or traveling forces the UI to show up, so it’s a workaround, but not exactly a fix. 

This is something that has been annoying me for soo long. The UI never appears at 6AM and I often completely miss it because I don't notice it from the calendar. Going to the map and back fixes it.

This is still an issue! I have to pay attention to the calendar and make sure I travel at 6am every "New Skill Day" in order to get the event to pop up. 

Truly don't understand how bugs like this can go unfixed for anywhere between 6 months to 2 years.

This happens on 3 platforms for me (xbox, Playstation, and pc). I have to pay attention to the calendar in order to participate by going outside of game (manage worlds, etc.) for it to pop up. And there are many times I've missed the holiday altogether.  It has been happening for a very long time. Having to rely on a workaround is not fixing the issue. I wholeheartedly agree!
