I have 2 sims who are married, and have 3 children that are all currently infants. 2 are from woohoo with outside males, and 1 from the "have science baby" with each other. This is the first day they both went away to work, and I was prompted whether to hire a nanny or send to daycare. I chose send to daycare. The first 2 infants disappeared, and their profiles greyed out. The third infant remains in the infant crib, and is now hungry, lonely, and crying, as their needs are depleting and they are home alone.
I began this save file 3 days ago, my game is up to date, and I have not used any mods for well over a month. This is not the first save file in which infants have not been sent to daycare; I have also noted that toddlers in the middle of an action will fade out after that action has completed. This infant had just been put to sleep, and fallen asleep before the second parent left the lot.
I am in the "making money" scenario, but there is nothing apparently scenario-related about this issue, as it happens occasionally on non-scenario saves as well.
