The same has been happening to me. My house has a front and a back door and quite often random NPCs that spawn in the neighborhood come inside the house from one of the doors and leave through the other, almost as if using my house as a shortcut to where they need to go. It's quite annoying.
Which neighborhood is this happening in ?
Hey crinrict it's happening in Mt. Komorebi, in the Wakaba Neighborhood. Specifically in the 2-4-3 Wakabamori lot (not the default build, I built my own house for the lot). I don't know if it's also happening in the other lots in the same neighborhood.
Did you build an r-rental there ? Can you interact with them ?
