Ideas
I'll have random objects my Sim doesn't interact with just spontaneously combust in flames. I've had trash cans, plants, tables. I only have one electric item in my house thats always off and has never caught fire. Every few minutes something randomly catches fire. I've tried putting a cheat in to stop fires but they still keep happening.
Poetateohs Is your sim living on a residential rental lot, and did you previously have the Cursed Book event? That's a known issue, and there's a separate thread for fires not related to this event. So please let me know either way.
My Sim is living on a residential rental lot but I have not done the cursed book event.
