I tested it too. But for me, the images only turned white after I reloaded the save file. And dragging them to another wall didn't change anything, they remained white. <- missed to read 5) can confirm everyting.
Yeah, that was my result too.
I checked Sims4Studio to and unless paintings are different than photos and the texture is store somewhere else, it never actually appears in the save game. It's like they are simply not saved.
Does anyone have a save game with painting by ref not white ? I don't have time to search the gallery or check mine but I would like to check where they are saved.
