Parents need to introduce themselves to their infants (Patch 1.110.265)

When the babies become infants, the parents cannot interact with the infant and must be introduced to their own infant by a babysitter. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title to fit old bug report

btw, now that we're working on this issue, I did some digging, and apparently this is something that has been going on for awhile...(2024) how come it only popped up for me now?

  I don't know. The trigger used to be the beloved trait but that was fixed I think. It's probably some other trait that still causes this.
