[PC] Controlled Folder Access blocking exe file/Error 21 or 22/Delivery Error

I can't play at all either since the "bug fix" update :(!!!!!!!

Are you all on Windows ?

Do you have any mods/cc in your game ? It's also possible that you're all having a different issue so please post as much info as you can as to what you are seeing.

crinrict​ Yes I have windows. I cleared my EA cache and I also have no mods, I repaired the game files and the same issue. When I click "new game" the game crashes and closes. When I try to load my games it says Error code 22 and then it asks me to choose a season to play in and when I do that it shows no household and zero funds so I can't do anything. There is also an error popping up in the corner when I open the game about Sims delivery. Also there is a random family of Sims that I never made on the screen when I open the game with a pink horse, a cat, a dog and some random sims. It started doing this after I downloaded the update with all the "bug fixes" yesterday. I saw another post about the smart app control option being on/off and mine is off and was already off when this happened.

I don't remember how I fixed it because it was years ago, but something like this happened to me when a setting in Windows became screwed up on a Windows update, and Windows was treating all my OneDrive files as unsafe and wouldn't open/download them. If your documents folder backs up to OneDrive, I would suggest following Crinricts link about controlled folder access for Windows.
