[PH] Siblings ask adult sibling for parenting

As soon as a teen ages up to an adult the other children in the household start asking that sim for parenting advice. School phone call events go to the sibling rather than the parents. Ideally they should not ask their sibling for parenting advice. Non-related sims in the household can also be asked. Parents should be selected first if possible.

This is one of the things I just ignored.  I thought it was normal that the school called any adult in the household about the child blowing up the lab or eating lunch in the bathroom.   It makes sense that the parents should get the call if they are on the lot.

If this could be changed it would make generational game play so much easier. I almost have to immediately move out teens who turn into young adults whether they are the next heir or not because kids/teens will go to their older siblings for advice or the school will call. It sucks because their sibling usually has like no parenting skill or super low parenting skills, but their parent is nearly maxed out with access to all the options and how they will affect the traits that come with Parenthood.

  • I would love a third option that's something along the lines of "What? Don't ask me...." so the pop up could be dismissed without changing character values. Also the pop-up should show which sim is being asked the question. If there are multiple adults in the house there's no way to know.
