Same problem. Had to roll back to the pre-update save, go to all households with treasured photos on display (without saving the game or reloading between them), create copy of every photo on the wall and keep them in sim inventories. Now I'm playing on and as long as the copies stay in sims inventories, both they and the original ones on the walls remain intact. Hope they survive the next "fix" too 🤞
Just as jacknifelee wrote, it's true! I tried making copies of some of the pictures and paintings I had on display and putting them in my Sim's inventory, then moving to another lot and saving and loading. When I returned home, only the photos and paintings I'd made copies of were intact! Thank you for pointing out the workaround for this bug!
