Somebody please be brave and try this after the alleged “fix” today and report back? I’m on Xbox so I can’t back up saves and have avoided opening any old saves during this catastrophic bug, hoping to avoid an infection in all of them. Fingers crossed but not holding my breath. (Meanwhile my older Sims still showering in their underwear, one year later.)
