Plants look dead while being in season/inside and functional

hi all my plants even the ones from the build mode are just brown and dead looking. the decorative flower and plant as well Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title to fit old report.

I'm having difficulty with a handful of the base game and the romantic garden pack plants. They started out great, but soon died. I tried using the right-click debug cheat, but they're still dead. Please help!!
