I'm having this issue too, and not just for walls and platforms next to a roof piece. I like to use platforms instead of foundations, but now any part of the roof that's over a floor with +2 platform is missing the roof trim. One unit fixed itself when I raised and lowered the roof height again, but another stays broken no matter what.
