I do believe they are trying to fix it, but they've spent more time focusing on releasing stuff rather than focusing on bugs that now it's gotten so bad that they just don't know what to do or how to fix some of these catastrophic bugs such as this save file corruption bug. This is the worst bug in the game. This bug is literally the Sims apocalypse and has rendered TS4 a completely broken product. TS4 is a massive game, and I don't think they have enough people in the bug fixing department. The best thing they can do for this the game is to hire more developers to help in fixing all of these bugs.
They barely and rarely fix some minor bugs. They suppose to have special bug fixing team but nothing is really done. Players give here, on the forum, exact solutions and codes to fix things - they are not fixed. I truly fear the future of the game.
I cannot deny it either. I am worried about the future of TS4 as well. I really love this game, and it's quite sad how it ended up in this state. They said that they want to continue on with this game for many more years to come, but if they do not put more effort into fixing these bugs, their goal is just not gonna work. They really need to stop with the new content for a while and focus on fixing the game and getting it back on the right path. No matter what community you go on, including Facebook, X , this forum, and Steam, etc. It's all swarmed with posts about bugs and how broken the game is.
