Random Fires - Inconclusive Cause

The fires keep breaking out; it's impossible to play like this. Every in-game hour there's a fire, and my Sims spend their days stressed and surrounded by flames. I've been dealing with this same bug for over two months. I'm getting less and less inclined to play. Things that shouldn't are catching fire (carpets, countertops, cribs, lamps). It makes absolutely no sense. This forces my Sims to constantly spend money fixing things, and I have to use cheats (even though I don't want to). I beg you to fix this already. I play without mods or custom content, and I'm constantly repairing the game. This has to stop now. 😠
