Returning from other lot makes all Sims come home from school/work

the same error again, when you leave the house and come back when one of the sims is at work, he automatically returns home

zuzais​  This was fixed in the July 31 patch.  What game version do you see in the lower-left corner of the Main Menu?  The current version is 1.117.227.

I have the latest update and it's probably causing this error. I know the previous update fixed it, but apparently the problem is back.

zuzais​  Have you tested with no mods or custom content?  If not, please do so now: remove the entire Mods folder and delete localthumbcache.package.  You don't need to save your progress.

If this doesn't help, please test a new save, still with no mods or cc, for comparison's sake.

Yours does sound more like the original one. Are you playing any scenarios ?

There's still a few open issues with this one. 

1. Does it happen if you travel from home to another lot or also if you travel from your home lot to another lot
2. Do you have any discovery quests active ?
3. Please add a thread tag for your platform.

Every time I send a sim to work or to school they stay on the lot walking in circles on the sidewalk outside the house where they normally would disappear into the rabbit hole. This doesn't effect their work or school performance. However if I travel anywhere they will be brought back "home" with a notification that they are home from school/work for the day. I do not use mods or CC, my game is fully updated, and I am having this issue as of 10-23-2025.
