Like this ones of the other broken expansions which players paid the full price? Go on, check for floating furniture, corrupted save files, deleting lots, broken/overlapping family trees ....

I must be lucky. My dynasty hasn't gained anybody. The fact is upon starting the game and then coming out of CAS, or just returning from somewhere I've followed, the game is compelling to tell me that the members of my Cantrell Dynasty have joined the dynasty. Well, yeah, duh. It's annoying, but after reading about some of the other things going on in your games and the total chaos of it all, I'm feeling lucky. I hope EA/Maxis gets this sorted out sooner than later.
It’s been happening to me as well, as a rotational player with several dynasties it is super annoying
example: my sim Scarlett Feng was born into the Feng Dynasty but married into the Goth Dynasty, leaving the Feng Dynasty but after the most recent update she’s in both and when removing her and putting in the correct dynasty it
#1 gives her negative reactions to her Family Dynasty for leaving
#2 when I go to any type of load screen, it switches back to the way it was bugged
It means any familial connection.
if the head of the dynasty is related, after the update it automatically puts them in any dynasty they are connected to by familylike if a Daughter left her father’s Dynasty and married into a new Dynasty, they’re now in both or if a sim is a secret child and before the update was in the Dynasty, they’re automatically in now, and if you remove them once going through a load screen they’re put back in

Exactly, that's the problem. You can't fix it manually, 'cause even if it DIDN'T just do it all over again, you'd still have to take possibly a LOT of time to fix all the Relationships it sabotaged (and Reputation if you have Get Famous). LIKE, I've got a 21-Generation Legacy going, and nearly all of them are Ageless. The main family is divided into MULTIPLE Dynasties because of how large it is. This bug has caused pure chaos, and I can't play until it's fixed because there's no telling how the fix will resolve Sims being in multiple Dynasties. Like, THIS is why I REALLY wish they'd let players reverse an Update, because I would GLADLY play offline until it's fixed and revert to the previous version.

I was scared to play because of this, and sure enough upon loading into the game half of the family was immediately put into the dynasty of an older branch of the family. I was intending to let this play on as two rival branches, but now they're all together in the original dynasty. I closed the game without saving in hopes that I can just pick up from here when there is a fix.

Having the same issue as the user above. When I go in and kick members out of the dynasty, they're automatically added back when I leave the household. It seems any member with the same last name is added back to the dynasty of that last name. One of my sims even had alien children (who were sent back to home world) but since they had the same last name, they were also added to the dynasty even though I can't play with them.

I'm having the same issue. My legacy children were in the family dynasty, but when they father died, they changed to their mother's family dynasty. Now I can't get them to switch back to the family dynasty of my legacy. Every time I switch them out goes back. It's also causing animosity due to them leaving the dynasty over and over. 🤦🏼♀️

I have no mods at all and have the same issue.
