Dynasty glitch: sims walking away from player directed actions to read books with Scholarly Ideal activated

Ideas
I have two married sims living together with a bookend in their house. They will not stop reading constantly. This wouldn't be a big issue if 1) they put away their books and 2) they would stop canceling actions to read. Their toddler really needs a bath but the sim bathing her keeps canceling the bath to go and read a book. And I have literally not seen them put away any books.
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
- Do you have a dynasty with the scholarly ideal ?
