Room not registering if platform is too high in elevation, disrupting roofs

I make a lot of castle builds and I noticed that rooms stop getting treated as rooms if they are too high in elevation. Pointed and octagonal roofs are supposed to disappear when you are inside of a room. But past a certain elevation, rooms aren't registered and the roof clips all the way through.
