Routing/Sit down issue on several interactions

This is a repost of this issue as it's still very much a thing

Game Version: 1.116.223.

Issues: If you give a Sim an order to do something, they will walk over to a pool or a chair, sit down and then get up again to do order you gave them to do.

The same is happening with infants when you give your Sim an order to do something with them. They will put the infant down, pick it up again and then do what they were supposed to do. Thread for this is here: Sim keeps putting infant down before putting them in crib et al. | EA Forums - 4982816

routing/sitdown issue                -playing on xbox seriesX

This problem appears a lot to me.

(For example : my parent-Sim "loved" to take the Baby-toddler and walk all the way down ! through the house just to sit  on the sun lounger outside. The Sims did this as a general-routine , ignoring every order i gave to them.)

Right now i suffer from a routing/sitdown/'will the sim finally use the bike?'. Problem ...                                          Brightchester Uni-campus.      My Sims have to reach the class in time ... It doesn't matter if i give the order ''go here" , the Sim allways choose the bike ! but before this : She make a few steps to the frontdoor, turn around to sit down on the sofa, stand up , go to the front door, turn around , go back to sit down on the sofa again , till she finally get on her bike (still standing in the livingroom !! 🤣🤔) and ride to her class (... and obviously she will be too late-again 😒).               ... It's amazing ! She always sit down 2 ! times ...

I would be really very gratefull to get rid of this  .       ✌️

Another routing- issue that drives me CRAZY 🤪 is : Sims walking ‘sensless‘ ways very often !!

To me it looks like the ‘allgorithm‘ force the Sim to walk (eventually all the way) back exactly to the point, the order was given to the Sim ... This makes Sims4 look soooo unreal !!

This (and the fact, that given orders often just disappears from the queue ! ) makes me avoid entering multiple commands in a row. (for me, thats issues are a clear negative in the game's evaluation !).

Just watched this routing/sit down issue : The Sim get the command to bath the toddler - nearby stands a high-chair. In the queue appear the high-chair symbol, connectet to bath-action. When i delete the high-chair symbol, the whole bath-action was canceled. So the only way to bath the toddler was : the parent put the toddler in the high-chair, talk to the toddler about taking a bath, take the toddler out of the high-chair, and then-finally bath it ... at least.

another one, also with the high-chair : Toddler just finished eating, mother get the command to take the toddler out of the high-chair, but first she sits down at the kitchentable for less then a second.

i am not quite sure, if this topic fits in here ... the father should read a book with the toddler  (sad, i don't have a video-it was kind of funny) - the father goes to the rocking chair - the toddler sits down nearby a chair at the gaming table (nearly at the other side of the room). Cause this command still isn't correctly shown in the queue, i gave it multiple times ... but father & son never came together !! >was the father sitting at the gaming table, the toddler longed for the rocking chair ... was the father sitting on the rocking chair, the toddler sits in front of the gaming table chair ....    🤣🤪👌
