My sims aren't able to ask for presents from Father Winter. They're young adults, teens or children but the "ask" options isn't available. I've had this problem on and off for a long time. I don't have any mods or cc in my game.

I'm experiencing this as well, in my long-term saves. Some sims years the Ask for Present appears, and some years it doesn't. No mods or CC and on a PC.
1 winterfest later in my save and I am still experiencing this. Still no mods or CC ever in this save and playing on PC.
I'm currently experiencing this in a brand-new save. Playing on PC, no mods or CC ever installed with this save and I completely cleaned out my folders prior to creating the save.
Sims no longer have the ability to ask for presents.
There is no present interaction where he gives gifts, everything else is there.
Toddlers don't have the ability to ask.
Please fix.
Community ManagerI'm a new simmer. Recently bought High school years, haven’t been able to play it through because no prom. Now I've purchased seasons and can not finish winterfest successfully because there's no interaction to ask for a gift from Father Christmas. Only to give Father a Christmas a gift. Same for all ages, child, teen, young adult and adult. Never have used cc or mods.

During Winterfest, after Father Winter has arrived and the child sim has greeted him, the child has no option to ask Father Winter for a present. The young adults in the household were, however, able to ask for and receive presents from Father Winter. Have not tested other life stages.
Found with mods installed, verified after disabling mods.
