[SE] Sim constantly gets 'controlled emotions' with no related interaction

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• Does this happen with one Sim only or with all your Sims ?

I'm not using any Mods/CC and yes, this happens with all the sims in my household. They will be doing a simple task and then have controlled emotions, even after just being asleep.

Did you get an emotionally mindful moodlet before ? Did you do a lot of emotionally mindful activities for a while and then reached that state ?

I don't think I've ever had it before and I've been playing for years and then very recently, it's happening all the time. I was just playing and my sim woke feeling controlled emotions with +10. Absolutely no reason for it to happen as before they went to bed, wasn't doing any mindful activities.

Sorry, my question was a bit unclear. I think you should get an emotionally mindful when you do lots of mindful interactions and then if you continue do to actions, you get the one you have. So my question was:

Did you get the emotionally mindful one too or just directly the controlled emotions one ? I do think it's normal that the needs don't decrease in that state (or at least slower)

Sorry! I do get the emotionally mindful (+4) one beforehand but even after not completing any mindful interactions then it automatically seems to progress to emotionally controlled for no reason. I have actively made sure that I'm not completing mindful activities and it's still happening to all sims.

I have the same bug; no mods, all expansion packs and game packs except batuu. even my toddlers and infants get a 'controlled emotion' moodlet although theres no option for them to 'surge emotion'.

My infant sim sometimes gets the “controlled emotions” buff from Snowy Escape. Clearly is not supposed to happen.
