Could you please provide the following information

Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
Does this happen with one Sim only or with all your Sims ?

I'm not using any Mods/CC and yes, this happens with all the sims in my household. They will be doing a simple task and then have controlled emotions, even after just being asleep.
