This is kind of random, but the shadows on my onion and carrot plants in game are always super dark, even after they've been watered and fertilized. I've tried resetting them, but they always look this way. I don't have this problem with other plants, just these ones. They appear this way in both live mode and BB.

Hello crinrict ! Thank you for getting back to me. I do have some mods/cc downloaded. I disabled them and launched the game again, but didn't see a change, and I grew these plants myself. Thanks again!
Are they just dark inside or also outside ? What season do you currently have ? Does that matter ?
They're only dark inside! When I move them outside, the shading issue is gone. It's currently fall in my game, but as long as the plants are inside, they look this way, no matter the season.
Community ManagerI've had this happen to my plants in multiple saves as well. Here is an image of a spliced blackberry, black bean, and basil. I'm on PC and grew these plants inside. When I move it outside, the shading is normal.
These gardening plants turn pure black when placed indoors due to them being set to the SimpleTree shader instead of the proper AnimatedTree shader that works indoors:
This is especially annoying when utilizing greenhouses and then you get a very jarring black plant in it.
