Sim Dying Emotional Death Randomly

The title pretty much sums up the problem. I was watching her the whole time and she never got hysterical. Which is required to my understanding for a sim to die from laughter. I have mirrors in the both bathrooms and one is on the wall in the hallway directly behind the fridge. Ever since the first time this happened to one of my sims I watch it very carefully and send them to a mirror to calm down. I was allowing her to finish the meal she was cooking on the stove and was going to have her go to the mirror in the hallway when all of a sudden....you see what happened. And I didn't even think to exit and load my last save. So now I am having to fix this mess that should not have happened at "very playful" in the first place.

    My sim was just out talking and I think a fairy cursed her? And made her unbalanced which instantly gave her an ailment and before I could even pause the game she died, all in a matter of seconds. I'm assuming this is a bug (unless they added murderous fairies in the update without telling anyone).

    Please test your issue on a vanilla game

    To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.

    -  localthumbcache
    -  Any lastException Files
    -  Any LastCrash files.

    Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

    Maybe just play on without mods/cc for now and see if it happens again ? Make sure to use a backup.

    I had a similar issue. My Sim doesn't die from laughter, but from cardiac explosion when she gets very inspired.
