Sim Gets Fear of the Dark After Being Cured (Patch 1.97.42)

So, right at the beginning of doing the Cozy Celebrations event, not one, but both my Sims in my household got munched on by the cowplant, and they both got the "Fear of the Dark" trait, among other ...

I resolved the fear my sims had with a potion from the reward system. But the moodlets about it won't stop even if the fear is not shown with the traits anymore.
