Ideas
Still an issue. It mostly seems to effect my Sims who become ghosts by swimming in the Baleful Bog. But, can't say if this is definitive. Not all my Sims who've become temporary ghosts have been effected. So far mostly "sad" and "embarrassed" ghosts.
It happened to my vampire sim who died from sun exposure too-
