I am having issues with sims doing pushups excessively everywhere. There will sometimes be 3-4 sims doing pushups randomly on and off in the community lots. It's really odd and annoying and (obviously) unrealistic on any lot except for in a gym setting.. even in a gym lot it shouldn't be as constant as what I am seeing on other types of lots. The other day it was Knight Night at the bar and the sims in their knight costumes all just kept doing pushups the entire time, which was the final straw on me noticing that there is obviously something very wrong here.

Sims always doing pushups

Marking this as dupe for now as there's a general thread here: Sims obsessively use objects | EA Forums - 12577862 but maybe EA wants to track it separately so I'm checking with a Community Manager. - crinrict2 months agoHero+
Could you please provide the following information for completions sake
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox) - 7ecce96cc824a4a32 months agoNew Spectator
That other excessively using object thread specifically says only add to it if it's object use, so I didn't consider this object use and didn't see it talked about there, unless I missed it. I use Mac and this was an issue prior to using mods and cc. I don't really use mods, but I have a lot of cc and the problem is the same whether those are removed or not. Game is fully updated.

yeah, I still need to clear this with a community manager. There might also be another thread already. Couldn't find one which seems odd so that's why I think it should be in another thread.

I just thought about the fact that I always make the sims that I play with be super fit and go through and edit many of the townies in CAS as well to be fit, but they shouldn't be doing pushups constantly everywhere they go haha

I agree OP's report. Even if NAP is turned off, sims obsessively do push-ups or stretch. But I believe this is an issue for sims with the active trait or active moodlet. In particular, the active moodlet is just as annoying as the flirt moodlet. Because Sims have been effected from foods or lot traits very easy, and Sims easily get active moodlet. Like/Dislike is not currently a way to curb this behavior. Even if a sim dislikes fitness, when the sim get active moodlet, the sim will still do push-ups or swim around in the sea.
I think this issue is less about Like/Dislike and more about the excessive behavior that moodlet causes.Play on PC via EA app, no MOD/CC, autonomy Full.

This issue started after I installed the Spa Day pack. Sims randomly and constantly do push-ups everywhere, especially on community lots. It’s annoying and breaks immersion. Is there a way to stop this behavior? (EA App, MacOs)

19ekarat Is it all sims or just a few? There are a couple of things that cause sims to do pushups autonomously. If you have Eco Lifestyle, there is a NAP that causes sims to exercise. And there is a trait you can give a sim that will also do it. If either or both are present, you might want to consider repealing the NAP or changing the trait.
Hope this helps.
