Sims call each other when on the same lot

🐞 WHAT HAPPENS: Wife calls Husband and asks about Formative Moment... but when they are standing in the other room, less than 10ft away.

🫵🏼 WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Sims on the same lot should NOT call Sims in the same household about Formative moments. They should at least be on a different lot. We get too many phone calls already! 😅

I've noticed this too, Sims on the same lot asking about the Lost Formative Moment via phone call. Only in this case it would have made sense if they used the same recicled animation for asking questions.

This happened to me too. My sim's partner called them but they were standing in the same room at home.

PC, mods removed/disabled.
My Sim seems to be calling another Sim within the household who is home (and repeatedly so far in the first day with new high friendship). I closed, and restarted the save/game several times and it happens every time.
I never had this happen before, but I got new packs fairly recently: CL, GF, GRO, ECO, SV, JtB and AA. I am guessing one of these packs has started this/has this issue.
When I tried to look this up I kept seeing posts about this issue in google search, claiming [FIXED], but dead end me when I click the link to the EA forums.
