I am experiencing the exact same issue after the v1.122 (March 2026) update. This is a critical logic bug in a 100% Vanilla game (NO Mods/CC).
My specific observations and test results:
The "One-and-Done" Glitch: In a brand-new save file, the very first time I direct a Sim to perform a ground exercise (Push-up, Sit-up, or Stretch), it works perfectly. However, every single attempt after that first success fails immediately.
The Sim walks to the spot, starts the animation for a split second, and the action is instantly canceled/dropped from the queue.
Active Trait Does Not Help: I specifically tested this with a Sim who has the "Active" trait. Despite having the ideal trait and being in an "Energized" mood, the bug still occurs after the first successful session.
The game seems to ignore the Sim's eligibility and forces a cancelation.
Time Intervals are Irrelevant: I tested different wait times between the first and second exercise commands—ranging from a few seconds to several in-game hours and even days. The result is always the same: Failure.
Location/Lot Independent: This happens on any lot type (Residential, Gym, Park) and any surface (indoor, outdoor, flat ground, no platforms).
Comprehensive Troubleshooting Done: I have already cleared localthumbcache.package, repaired the game via the EA App, and tested on multiple new saves.
It appears the "Cooldown" or "State Tag" introduced in the latest patch is failing to reset properly. Even though the Sim has finished the animation, the game's internal logic still flags them as "Busy" or "Ineligible," causing all subsequent manual commands to be auto-canceled.
Please investigate the Reset Trigger for fitness interactions in the 1.122 script!
