After the update when I log out save the game while my 2 child sims went to school and an adult sim gone out to work, when I log back in all of them came home? They were like gone for one or 2 hours only and they all came back home
It happened to me quite a few times, and when I log back I cannot send them back to school. Sometimes it's only one of the kids, sometimes it's all of them.
Loading a save tends to reset things like sleeping, sitting, and attending work, school, and other rabbit hole activities. It's best to wait until your Sims have finished things like that before you save.

I have also encountered this problem. Every time I load to a new lot my sims who are working come back and finish their jobs with a few salaries .
So most times, when I send my teen sim and child sim to school, if I save the game and then turn it off and come back to it, they are at home and it affects their grades/performance because they “missed” school. Even though they were gone to school for a few sim hours before I saved the game and then closed it. Everytime I comeback to the save, they are at home. Sometimes it’s only one of them, sometimes it’s both of them. In the attached screenshot, you can see the time of day, my child sim out front and that the teen is at school. When I first started up the game. It was the teen that was home, I reloaded and it was both of them, reloaded again and it’s the child this time
Community ManagerI last exited my game at 10.29 am (in-game time). Mum and dad were at home, their four kids were at elementary school. Now every time I load the game it sends one of the kids home from school and says (eg) 'Ethan has finished school for the day'. So, I quit without saving, loaded the game up again and the same thing happens. I tried a number of times using both 'resume game' and 'load game' with the same result. It has happened before with this family too.
Playing on PC, Windows 11, no mods or cc.
