Routing failures are very individual, could be the lamp, could be something on the wall.
Is vacuum happening in the same space or a separate issue ? There's an older thread here: [OPEN] [BDK] My sim won’t vacuum | EA Forums - 11479515 doesn't have a new one yet.
Best is if you upload your house to the gallery and post the name here. Maybe someone can check it.

Vacuuming is an issue in this and other spaces. It’s an issue in small and large spaces, but I can upload the builds to the gallery when I get home from work and have a moment.
