I have listed multiple pictures of my family tree breaking in multiple variations. The first break, My two married sims (Bruce and Manuel) somehow got turned into siblings even though they never were. That happened after they both aged into elders.
The second break happened after I deleted Manuel from the world and manually added his relationships back using MCCC. The tree was correct after some correcting and went on about my gameplay, A few in-game days I opened the tree again and Bruce and Manuel's children all broke out, either they becoming step-children or one not being fathered by the other (They are all Bruce and Manuel's biological children)
The Third break happened after Lee (One of the children) Bruce and Manuel died, Lee no longer appeared on the family tree. I luckily make my own family trees but as a family gameplay person, the family tree constantly breaking is making me not want to play anymore as it is super annoying.
I wish it to be fixed please..

Update: Lee is under Bruce's tree so he wasn't quite removed but it is quite annoying to have them not all be together when they're all full siblings

I have a save for my legacy family that now has 5 generations. I have been playing in this save for about half a year. But now my family tree is missing many sims. Brothers, Sisters, nephews, uncles, nieces, siblings… Alive or dead. Also one generation of grandparents is bugged. It looks like it changed the sims to a totally black version. I hate to see this happening to sims i play with very often… It’s not fun seeing sims u play with for a long time just vanished

Oltre ad avere questo bug a me sono scomparsi dei sim completamente, come se non li avessi mai creati. 😭

I am on Gen 8 of a legacy family but the first sim of the legacy is still alive because she is an immortal witch, many sims have disappeared from the family tree, including all of Gen 5. Because an entire generation disappeared from the family tree the original witch sim now has the option to be romantic with her Great-Great-Great Grandchild because it no longer shows her as an ancestor. In my saves only sims whose ghost has moved on have disappeared.

I believe this is the same issue
Sims who are alive and show up in the family tab of the relationship panel are not on the family tree at all, in the case below their mom/my sims sister died, which seems to have caused her to vanish from the family tree (which shouldn't happen) and thus the connecting line between my sim and her nieces and newphews was cut so they are just not shown on the tree
I know culling happens but it should't break the family tree like this, it's bad enough when you go back a few generations and sims are suddenly missing but it's especially annoying for sims who are currently alive and in the game - dckess214 months agoNew Spectator
I'm participating in a legacy challenge, and I know they typically delete Sims from the family tree that you didn't play with in order to save space, which is fine. However, the Sims I had directly played with, but who were moved out, were deleted from the tree. Their urns are still there, and their names are still attached, but I wanted to see if this was a bug. They weren't main characters, but they shouldn't be deleted xD Luckily, I am obsessed with my family I made a handwritten family tree to remember them by.
