Sims excessively 'Grab a Drink' with 'Tea Magic Personal Brewer' after brewing

The teapot that is part of base game seems to cause odd behavior in the Sims.

When autonomusly making tea, the Sim occasionally first takes 1 cup and simply places it on a desk and walks to take another cup.

Additionally, taking a cup of tea and drinking it causes the Sim to stack additional iterations of taking cups of tea (I attached a screenshot of this, I did not tell the Sim to perform the 2 additional teamaker actions).

What I expect would happen would be for Sim to cook 1 pot of tea and then drink 1 cup before queuing any future actions.

    With this being fixed in the upcoming Nov 4 fixes update, I'm wondering if this fix is going to affect the "Share Detox Tea" in the "Zen Guru" aspiration from Spa Day, where you need to have other Sims "autonomously perform 'Grab a Drink' interaction" 10 times. Or is there another way to perform this step in the aspiration that I'm not aware of? 🤔

    please fix this - my sim will drink ALL the tea and then have a meltdown on the way to the bathroom any time I brew tea!   playing on PS5 Console (no CC)

    I can’t believe it’s on the laundry list. It’s been the issue for 3,5 years at least.  Please, please, make it happen 🙏

    I LOVED that my sims would go get themselves a tea. Now I'm going to have to make them. WHYYYYY did yall want that changed?!

    Our Sims getting themselves a nice cup of tea sparks joy. 

    Our Sims getting hyperfixated on the tea brewer and queueing “Grab a cup” 10 times in a row, to the detriment of the rest of their lives (and bladder) does not spark joy. 

    The “fix” in the laundry list is not what we asked for. 😟
