Sims in Romantic Relationship Keep Getting Out of Bed

My issue recently has been when I put my sims to sleep. They have a long pause, go to sleep, then immediatley they get up even though their needs are fully met. Im not sure why they keep bugging out like that and recently I have been seeing in other websites that I am not the only one having this issue. I keep tasking them to sleep and it keeps repeating. Another issue with sleeping is sometimes I dont task my sims to cuddle when they sleep and they do it on thier own. I dont want my sims to cuddle when I dont task them to because it disrupts both of their sleep but they automatically do it.

This is happening in my game.  It's so painful to have to tell sims to go to bed multiple times because of this bug.

  • I put this "workaround" in the old now Archived Bug report linked in this post but figured i should share it here now...

first you want to have one of your sims already asleep then if you click on the sleeping partner's side of the bed instead of the empty side when going to sleep the active sim will often go straight to sleep on the first try.

  • I think it has something to do with Lovestruck EP. Because I don't have this bug, and I don't own this EP either.

(Hey, OP, make sure that there’s no source of noise in the room where your Sims are trying to sleep — like a radio playing dance music [Pop, Rock].)

I don’t have LS, but since it was released my Sims don’t go to sleep automatically after WooHooing. They used to queue Sleep after WooHoo every time, but now they WooHoo, then one of the Sims falls asleep normally while the other stays in bed, but there’s no Sleep action in their queue and they’ll get up autonomously in less than one IRL minute, unless I command them to sleep — in which case both them and their partner will wake up.

This happens every time with all my Sims in se eral households. (Playing on PlayStation 5, so mod free guaranteed — none of the affected Sims were downloaded from the gallery; it happens with new Sims made in CAS, premade townies and random townies.)

The single workaround I’ve found was to wait for the WooHoo to finish, wait a beat and then command the Sim who doesn’t have Sleep in their queue to sleep.

I think you might be right, for me the cuddle option doesn't work at all they just wave cos they can't route to do the interaction. But for me the sleep option also disappears once one of the sims is in bed? and sometimes they will auto go to sleep with the partner and stay in bed. but other times I can only trigger them to nap through the needs bar but then again sometimes the needs bar triggers sleep for them?? it's so confusing.
