Sims keep holding invisible book after putting it down

After Sim reads Vol 3 of Thant. book, it remains in the Sims hand invisibly until I Save/Exit. When I return it is fine. If I try to read the book again, the same bug happens.  The Sim is not able to do anything including cooking, jogging, showering, etc. when the bug is active.

    Is the Sim holding an invisible book or is it visible in his hand ?

    Going to go ahead and assume it's the same issue reported at AHQ.
