I actually had a thread about this also called musical chairs and they said they fixed it a couple of patches ago. I think they potentially maybe fixed a part of the problem but I think there exists another part where I feel Sims need to sit down to start a new interaction such as a conversation. I told my child to go do homework and he walked to the couch to sit down on the couch first then he got up and went to the kitchen table to actually do his homework.
So I agree I think this still exists. 🗳️
