Sims relationships max out too quickly

Do they have any traits or qualities that would affect that? The Good Manners trait (Parenthood), a good reputation (Get Famous), the Incredibly Friendly trait from the reward store, or the Gregarious bonus trait that comes with selecting a popularity aspiration when you age up?

Also what age is your sim and are they making friends with someone the same age? Child and teen sims have rapid relationship building when they interact with someone their own age. It's an intentional feature.

I’ve encountered the same issue. I thought it was my mods (I’m too lazy to test without them).

You know what? I have a Sim who owns a Small Business, and when customers check out, my Sim instantly becomes good friends with them... Like, what??? My Sim never introduced themselves, so why are they suddenly good friends???

At first, I thought it might be the Outgoing + Incredibly Friendly trait. But it turns out it’s caused by the "Beloved Brand" trait from completing the "Esteemed Entrepreneur" Aspiration. I tested it by changing traits with a re-traiting potion and removing the Incredibly Friendly trait, and it still happened. But still, does it make sense to suddenly have a good friend from an ordinary customer?

Recently, I have other Sims. I took them to the Spa, and two of them immediately became good friends with the massage chair/table tenant. FR??? Just ask for a massage (no introduction interaction before) and become good friends??? This clearly doesn’t make sense! Did you add a stranger tenant to your first inner circle after just one meeting?

Additional info: Those Sims are Young Adult age to Young Adult or Adult Customer & Tenant interactions. The same case happen to Child age, while my child Sims gathering with their children popular club. Another child (not a club member) joined a conversation between my Sim with other members and instantly they became good friend.

Wonder if these are connected ?  I say this as the "stranger" only need to appear with an intent to talk to the sim(s) I am playing and they automatically become acquaintances. When the stranger talks to my sim - we immediately become friends.  the thread is : Strangers in your converstion

And yes, I had a child, while she was in her 1st day of school (12 hours after she actually aged up), get a phone call from someone she has never met to congradulate them on their birthday, who in fact,  was not even on the lot the birthday party occurred on and not in friend list anywhere.  I canceled the call - I did not permit child to answer the phone while in school, and she immediately became friends with the caller anyway.  she did not have any additional reward traits as she did not have any points to redeem!
