Whenever my Sim talks to someone their friendship level goes up too fast. After only a couple interactions, they are already at maximum friendship, while normally it should take much longer.

Do they have any traits or qualities that would affect that? The Good Manners trait (Parenthood), a good reputation (Get Famous), the Incredibly Friendly trait from the reward store, or the Gregarious bonus trait that comes with selecting a popularity aspiration when you age up?
Also what age is your sim and are they making friends with someone the same age? Child and teen sims have rapid relationship building when they interact with someone their own age. It's an intentional feature.
