We rolled out some fixes in today's patch that should have resolved this issue.
- [EA Forums] Household members that have custom painting and are placed via Manage Households no longer lose their texture when you switch to that household. This includes Cats, Dogs, Horses, Werewolves, Fairies, and regular Sims.
Can you confirm that your The Sims 4 is fully updated and that you're seeing this on a mod free game?
No mods no CC, deleted all cache, and game is fully updated. I still had the issue. I am currently repairing my game to see if that works, and will try reloading my save after. I repaired it before the patch, so seeing if that helps to do so again after patch.
Could you double check what game version you have on the main menu ? Are you on PC or Mac ?
Did you use paint mode on these ?
How do I check the game version? I can't seem to find it. But it is fully updated.
I am on PC.
All the black ones featured here have been paint mode, the non-black one here was a preset in game. I'd have to double check the rest in world, but it seems any preset ones are missing textures and all paint mode ones are black voids.
And they weren't broken before the patch for you ?
