Sims' voices change pitch

My sims' voices have started to change pitch since yesterday (or at least I haven't noticed it before yesterday). The latest update I have installed is the one from the 12th of February, 1.121.361.1020. I have all EPs, GPs and SPs, and some kits.

Example of before and after for one of my sims:

It doesn't happen to all sims, just some. The only thing they seem to have in common is that they have voices on the deeper end of the spectrum. So far it has happened to the "candy", "bird" and "bell" voices (I don't know their names in English). Their voices changes from a lower to a higher pitch, but it differs how much it changes for different sims.

I don't know exactly what triggers it, since it doesn't happen for all sims, but it happens after I've been in CAS with them and entered CAS specifically through the Household Manager. It doesn't matter if I just enter CAS and close it again with the X or if I actually edit them in CAS. The thing is that when it's triggered for a sim, it continues to happen every time I enter CAS with them through the Household Manager, even if I change their voice back to what it was. But I have found that if I go into CAS specifically through Live Mode, it sometimes changes back to their original pitch, and if it doesn't and I change it back myself, it seems to stick after leaving CAS and I go back to Live Mode.

I do use mods, but I took them out and opened a save version from a few days ago and it still happens in that save, even though this didn't happen when I played that save a few days ago. I haven't made any changes, not installed any new mods or anything, so I don't know what changed since a few days ago, because if it started earlier it feels like I should've noticed it, it's jarring hearing a sim suddenly having a different voice.

Oh yeah !  I realise that this is WHY my sim suddenly has a low voice ( she's a teen) after having to edit her in CAS via the manage households screen. She lost her hair due to having deleted the CC file and I saw that upon entering the game so I just went through households to edit her hair. Now my played sim ran into her and she suddenly has a low male voice. I was wondering how this happened!

DarkSimzzz  That's interesting. For me they keep the same voice type, it's just the pitch that changes, but the pitch tends to change quite a lot, so for some it can sound like a completely different voice even though it's the same voice type. Does the sim you had this happen to start with "candy", "clef" or "bird" voice and it changed to "bell", "fire" or "trumpet" voice? The first three have female voice actors and the last three have male voice actors, so I'm wondering if that's what you mean or if you just mean that the pitch changed to very low.
