Mine will do that, too! I can't find a reason for them doing this. I'm wondering if this is related to sims using other objects like counters that are clear across the building instead of the one they were standing next to? Or other similar situations that have been going on forever? Drives me insane! I make sure not to have counters in any other room than the one dedicated kitchen space. Or taking their dishes across the house to wash them instead of using any of the multiple options closer by.
I'm on a macbook air laptop and using a few mods specifically: MCCC, Carl's collectables ready, amellce sit steady, xml injector, Lot 51 Core but I have this issue even when I disable & clear out my mods folder. so idk
