UPDATE/FIX: the fix for me was going into game settings and unchecking “enable ailment spread”, “enable balance & imbalance”, and “enable luck”. I would like to add that none of the sims I tested this with before unchecking these things had bad luck or an imbalance or an ailment. It is a bug. I have enchanted by nature. If you do not and you are dealing this issue I am not sure of a fix, but for me this worked thankfully, otherwise, I couldn’t play.

I am having the same issue. All of my positive interactions are taken negatively. Everything from a joke to asking about their day and everything in between. When I interact with my horse it work as intended. Sim to sim, not going well at all. This is a new bug for me. Makes the game completely unusable. Very frustrating.
I am on PC. Fully up to date on game updates. Mods don’t appear to be the issue.
Went to several different households across different worlds, ones I’ve never played, sent a sim from that household out into the world, every time they interact with any other sim this happens.

I just had the same issue in a new save file. Never had that issue previously. The fix you provided worked for me. Thank you!
