this, i hate that my sim will be flirting with someone and then 4 randoms join the conversation and now my sim feels embarrassed/awkward!
Random sims pushing into a conversation in a date is so infuriating! And sometimes they're at the other end of the neighbourhood, but they've queued up that they're going to interrupt your date so they're part of the conversation even if you can't even see them from here.
Dates at home are easier, or The Bluff in Windenburg because nobody ever goes there. But it's a shame that our sims can't enjoy all the other date venues in the game without rude sims not getting the idea that people on a date are a private conversation they should stay out of.
