[SV] Driveway to 'Strangerville Overlook' is Inaccessible

Hi. I had an issue like that just recently in Windenburg. What helped me was; I bulldozed the lot and re-added it from my library where I uploaded it before. after re-downloading the lot everything works fine and my SIM can walk on every spot again. I should add that I replaced the lot from the world map view and not directly from the lot. Have you tried to replace the lot yet?

I have the same issue on this lot and that is the closest I can get to the driveway before clicking doesn't show up and that continues until you get past the driveway and back onto grass.

I'm playing on a windows laptop with all games, expansions etc.. and updated to the latest patch with no mods/cc ever.

I tried that but it didn't make a difference, probably because the area you can no longer click on is outside of the lot build zone.

Oh, OK. I thought it was part of inside the lot area.

Just tested the lot /drive way area and can confirm that a large part leading to the house can't be walked on. But Sim can't walk on part of the green either like around the front stairs and on the sides of the house. When you click on all those areas "walk here" does not show.

I have exactly the same issue at the Roswell house. What’s more, Sims invited to the lot get stuck on the driveway. The "Call Over" interaction helps at first, but then they can't leave; they just stand in front of the house steps, unable to get past. I had to form a group, and my Sim had to lead them step-by-step around the house to the street. Only then did they finally leave. It’s incredibly annoying. Playing in that house is a nightmare.

I had something happen where my Roswell house disappeared from the Gallery. I had it saved in My Houesholds but now it's gone completely. I tried to place another Roswell house and I got a System Error. Soon after I couldn't save my game and I lost an entire Save file. I don't know if this had something to do wth it or not but thought I would give this info for troubleshooting purposes.

I'll add another thing I noticed about this house. When I play as a different family and want to visit the Rosswells, the "Knock on the Door" option doesn't appear on the door. It only says "Enter family from the gallery."* I can't visit this house at all.

Regarding the inactive driveway, this error isn't save-related. I cleared my cash files, created a new save, and the error persists. It happens on every save.

*I made a mistake. It is "Switch to this family" not "Enter family from the gallery".

Of course it’s not a “safe related” issue as we all know, it’s a bug once again that nobody is really surprised about anymore on an 11 year old game.
