I’m having this same problem, and it really discourages me when creating my occult Sims. In the case of my merman, since the game doesn’t have gills in Create-a-Sim, I made my own using the tattoo tool from the Businesses & Hobbies pack and applied them only to the occult form. However, when I save him to the gallery or enter Live Mode, the gill tattoo disappears. So frustrating..
