I have this issue too. It’s slightly rotated. I saw an old report on here about it happening in Windenberg from 2017 but I have it everywhere.

I'm having this issue too. I built a house and the paver terrain paint was normal, with the rotation in line with the grid. But when I placed the house on a new lot the pavers are rotated not quite 45 degrees, and any new paint placed is the same. It makes that paint unusable on that lot as doesn't line up with literally anything.

I have this issue, but only on certain lots both with and without mods. I have a build now that is a 50x50. When placed on Palamino Junction in Chestnut Ridge, the terrain is crooked. I placed the lot on Oakenstead in Willow Creek and it is lined up. I then tried on the Affluista Mansion lot and it is crooked.

I am having the same issue, and I have never played with mods or custom content, and I see that this has been going on for a very long time and it looks like EA/The Sims team is either refusing to address it, or they can't fix it. I am refusing to buy anymore content for their game until they fix this. ALL of the terrain paints are completely unusable because of this. They can pump out packs but they can't fix what they break... typical EA BS.

Update: This is still randomly happening. I placed a build I made on Chateau Peak on the Adventure Awaits 64x64 Hothead Rock Hideaway lot and the terrain paint is crooked in some spots. Newly painted terrain on the lot is also crooked.
I circled the crooked spots in red and the correct paint in green.
When I placed the lot again on Chateau Peak, it was fine.
Edit: Sorry, the big green circle is flooring. The small green circle is the terrain paint from the previous lot and the red is also from the previous lot but crooked.
