There is currently an issue in MCCC that is causing a freezing like this if you have auto-marriages turned on.
If you encounter this is with ANY mods in your game, then this is not your thread. ...

Is this what you are seeing: Time/Sim freezes while environment still moves | EA Forums - 11885395 ?
Does your game at any point close/crash to the desktop on it's own ?
This is exactly what is happening!
I have to close the game manually using task manager. I once left it for 15 minutes to see and still wouldn't close, it means I cannot save my progress.
