I am also having this issue (amongst others). For me a temp solutions was to move my EA folder, load the game so a new folder is created and then move my saves and tray back into the new folder. Rinse and repeat. That worked for awhile but now it seems like I have to do it daily to play the game. The time just freezes and goes back when I click the menu. If I try to go to the world map, it loads forever. (Which then I have to restart my computer). My only option is to exit the game. And my computer is currently on safe mode since it’s been crashing trying to load the game since November’s update.
