I’m having the same issue!! I’m on console, so no mods. I’ve tried starting a new save, resetting the sims, going back to my home screen on console then back to the sims, nothing works & it’s happening every few minutes at this point! This game is becoming so unplayable at this point, I’m done spending money on it. This is ridiculous.
ETA: I’m STILL having this issue!!! I noticed it happens the most on the biggest lot in Henford. I can’t have a cow, chickens or any farm animal w out it making the bug worse. This needs to be fixed, EA! I will be holding off on buying the new pack till they finally fix their bugs. 🙄
